I was catching up on some of the news today, and came across this lovely bit:

Giant Cannibalistic Squid Invades British Columbian Waters

I find this completely ironic, given that I have just finished up Jeff VanderMeer's City of Saints and Madmen only a few weeks ago. Geez... :)

I hadn't seen that one until later in the day, but what do I know? :)

That said, that one's fascinating, too... :) And in some game system or other, methinks there's a plot scenario involving squid, giant or otherwise.

Hey, we have cameras here in Canada... I guess there just wasn't anyone around with one at the time! :)
