Good morning, folks.

Alive and well in the land of Southway. Okay, not well. Still sick. The hotel is still pretty neat, though.

Had to go over to the house late this morning, as the insurance adjustor called and told me he wanted to meet me there. Not going to go into detail here, but the news is not good at the moment. Was planning to go over there anyway, as I needed to get a couple of changes of clothes, but work has not commenced. I've been in the hotel for a week now. Nuts! :<

I was able to grab a few books to take to the hotel with me. Got a couple of Kage Baker books, the Adam Roberts that I will finish shortly, and a couple of others. I also managed to take a few CDs from the house with me to the hotel, since the alarm clock also has a decent CD player with it. The CDs I have with me are Rules for Jokers by Thea Gilmore, The Best of Juluka by the same band, and Highwire by Dawn Langstroth. And no, I'm too tired and ill right now to provide any links to the albums or the artists. You can go check them out yourself! <g> Gotta remember to take my headphones next time I go to the house, so I can listen on the computer and all.

In other news, I spoke to the doctor again, since I am not feeling all that much better, and he wants to see me on Monday.
