I tossed and turned all night, and barely got a good night's sleep by the time the alarm clock went off.
Work today so far has been busy, but it's always like this on the Monday morning. The week is going to be a stressful one, and I've no idea what's going to happen by the weekend.
I'm scheduled for an MRI on Wednesday, and have been told that I'll be having tests for around 4 to 5 hours, but that it shouldn't involve anything besides the "usual" (whatever that means).
The real problems of the week start on Thursday. The condominium is replacing the windows in the house with new windows, and the process is due to start on Thursday and will take at least two days. All the drapes, blinds, curtain rods, etc. have to be taken down, furniture has to be moved so they can get to the windows, and so forth. Needless to say, I'm in no position to do all this moving of furniture and removing of wall stuff, given how bad my back is (the reason I'm going for the MRI this week), and so will have to hire someone to do the moving and all that stuff. And then there's the matter of getting everything re-fixed up when the process is over. Assuming I don't need to buy all new drapes and blinds... Add to that the dirt and drywall dust when the do the installation, the possible mess on the floor, and then add the heat we're experiencing in Ottawa at the moment (it's going to 32oC with a humidex of around 40o today), that's supposed to get even hotter by the end of the week, and add my serious allergies... The back problems... My current toe problems...
It's no wonder that I'm seriously stressed out... And to be honest, I don't know whether I'll even be able to live in the house by next weekend... and... and... I'm just amazed I can even function right now, to be honest.
