A Tuesday Morning

Woke up this morning feeling somewhat fuzzy and groggy, pain in my left ear and cheek, down the neck, and into the throat, and still with a bit of frog in throat/sore throat. Ah well, c'est la vie...

Work yesterday was an absolute nightmare, due to the sheer amount of paper piled on my desk, and kept me busy for most of the day and I didn't leave the office until later than usual. Today, well... the boss is having a bad day so far, and is taking it out on us "minions" (as he referred to us earlier today). *sigh*

In other news, I'm doing relatively well at continuing to get the house clean of the dirt/drywall dust from the installation of the windows last week, and have finally found a place to repair some of my window blinds - but at horrendous cost.

My plan for today, once I get home, is to relax for a while with a good book (anyone know of some good, non-sf/fantasy books...and no horror please?), and then do some more work on a couple of Primeval RPG projects I've got underway. I'm actually having fun getting back into this rpg after a bit of a break, and may end up running the game again sooner than expected. Which isn't a bad thing at all.

For the moment, however, back to work. :)
