LJ and Ubuntu Problems

Having all kinds of trouble getting onto LiveJournal and some of the other websites that I tend to frequent. In terms of LJ, I don't know whether it's a problem with LJ or whether this has something to do with the other stuff going on with me.

I have a funny feeling that this is due to the computer glitch that I've got with Ubuntu at the moment.

Every time I boot the computer, it gives me the message:

Error: hd0 out of disk
Press any key to continue

Don't really know how to fix this problem, as I'm no longer a technical guy when it comes to the computers and stuff. And, like I said, I'm having problems getting on-line.
