A Hot Tuesday Morning
Another scorching day here in the Ottawa valley, though the heat hasn't started yet (as it's around 18oC as I type this).
I woke up somewhat groggy this morning, since I stayed up until 11:00 pm watching the episode of Broadchurch that aired last night. (More on that in a separate post later.) I tossed and turned a bit last night, and woke up with pain in my left hip, as I must have spent too much time sleeping on it last night.
This morning, I'm sitting in the office feeling a little brain dead. I'm somewhat stuffed up in the head (allergies, possibly?), but am feeling all right otherwise. So it's a good thing that there's very little work piled on my desk this morning, and it looks like I've got a relatively light load of stuff to deal with this a.m.. ::knock on wood::
Don't have too many plans for the rest of the day once I get off work, though I do have a few things that I need to get to. The heat has been getting to me something fierce since the temperatures rose into the high 20s and low 30s this week, so I will be trying to take it somewhat easy if I can once I'm done with work for the day.
