The Rosemont Bay Roleplaying Game Kickstarter

I know what I've said about various Kickstarter projects here on my blog in the past, but...

I really feel that this game needs to be hyped somewhat.

Topher Gerkey is in the process of Kickstarting the Rosemont Bay RPG at the moment. Rosemont Bay is a roleplaying game that combines the classic ideas of gothic horror and romance – virtuous heroes, dastardly villains, creepy locations, and supernatural menace – with the sleek and stylish interpersonal conflicts of modern prime-time TV dramas. Yes, it's a tabletop RPG of supernatural relationship drama! The game uses the Cortex Plus Dramatic gaming system developed by Margaret Weis Productions.

While I can't say I'm a fan of the Cortex system at this point, I think that it will be the perfect fit for the game, based on what I've heard about it. This is the sort of game that I've wanted to run for a Twin Peaks, Dark Shadows (the original tv series), and even Haven campaign.

There are approximately 55 hours to go in the Kickstarter as I write this post, and while the Rosemont Bay game will be published, it's a genre that is tough to sell and there hasn't been a lot of advertising and word-of-mouth about this game. So I figured that I would put in a good word for it here on my blog. So please, take a look at the Kickstarter page(s) and if you feel it's worthy of your money and support, please pledge around this game.

Here's the link once more.
