You wouldn't notice that from the weather. Another warm, sticky, humid day in the Ottawa valley today, though the sun's not going to be out all that often today and there's a chance of rain and possible thunderstorms.
Overall, August wasn't a bad month when compared to the earlier parts of the year. There were some stomach and bowel problems with the new medication I was taking, but much more manageable than the ones I suffered under with Metformin back in the day.
But enough looking back. September holds a lot of promise, and I'm looking forward to the month. Gaming-wise, I'm reading the Yggdrasill RPG from the folks at Cubicle 7 in preparation for running a short-term game of it once I finish with the Primeval RPG for a bit. I had planned to run the Atlantis: The Second Age RPG come October or November, but the delay on that book will mean that I won't be running Atlantis again until the new year (I wouldn't think). So Yggdrasill will make for a good, short campaign to see if both the Friday and Sunday gaming groups want to add that to the regular game repertoire.
Got a ton of reading that I want to do this month, including making a dent in the comics that I purchased back in February and yesterday. There's also a few tv shows I'll be watching, since the new season of tv starts very soon now. And I'm also re-watching the classic Dark Shadows tv series over on YouTube (since I'll be doing some playtesting of the new Rosemont Bay RPG that was recently Kickstarted).
So September promises to be a busy month, and there's likely a few things I have forgotten that I need to accomplish during the month.
Anyway, for now, I need to do some preparation for this afternoon's game of Primeval that I'll be running the Sunday gaming group through. That, and my morning shower.
