A Cliff-Hanger with no Cliff?

Well, I caught the fall finale episode of Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. last night, and have to say... that was disappointing.

In all honesty, I can say that I'm dropping the series from my tv viewing when it returns post-Christmas/post-New Year or whenever it starts to air again. And rather than giving you most of my reasons for doing so after this episode, "The Bridge", I'll let Chris Lough's column at Tor.com speak for itself.
