Arthur C. Clarke Dies at Age 90

Clarke will likely best be remembered for the magnificent 2001: A Space Odyssey, but likely moreso for the movie than for the actual book itself. I remember him for all manner of other stories, both long and short, that impressed upon me that science fiction could do a great many things - educate, inform, be funny, be sad, and be thought provoking. Arthur C. Clarke is one of the men who *defined* science fiction, and this is a man who will be greatly missed.
RIP, Arthur C. Clarke. You've earned it.
