Book Meme on a Sunday Morning

Sunday morning.

Since I've been thinking of reading and the like for the day and all, I thought that I would post up a book meme that fredbasset posted up, that she got from joereaves. I've made a couple of changes to the meme, so we'll see what comes of this.

First, the questions themselves.

*****
1. Author(s) I've Read The Most Books From

2. Currently Reading

3. E-Reader or Physical Books?

4. Fictional Character I'd Most Like to Shag1

5. Just Finished Reading...

6. Kinds of Books I Won’t Read

7. Some Books That I've Read Multiple Times

8. Three Of My All-Time Favorite Books
*****

Hope to see some answers to this meme from folks here in the Comments. :)

And here, under the cut, are my answers.

1. Author(s) I've Read The Most Books From
Hmm, this is a tough one, given how long I've been reading books! I can say for sure Isaac Asimov, Poul Anderson, Lindsey Davis, Kage Baker, Terry Pratchett, Charles Stross, Adam Roberts, Brian Aldiss, Jack McDevitt, Charles Sheffield, Christopher Moore. And that's just off the top of my head.

2. Currently Reading
I'm usually reading two or three books concurrently, plus maybe a magazine. Right now, I'm reading The Apes of Wrath edited by Richard Klaw, Dinosaurs: The Complete Guide to Dinosaurs by Steve Parker, and Primeval Companion by Gareth-Ryder Hanrahan and others (RPG). Got The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien sitting in the pile at the moment as well, but haven't started it.

3. E-Reader or Physical Books?
Definitely physical books. While I might like to get an e-reader for travel purposes, I haven't done anything about that yet.

4. Fictional Character I'd Most Like to Shag1
The incomparable Dejah Thoris. :)

5. Just Finished Reading...
Fate of Worlds by Larry Niven and Edward M. Lerner and the December issue of Locus magazine.

6. Kinds of Books I Won’t Read
I'm not a fan of romance novels, anime/Japanese style stuff, most horror, and true crime. And I draw the line at war-based fiction and non-fiction (though I've read some of the latter).

7. Some Books That I've Read Multiple Times
The Hobbit by JRRT. The Foundation trilogy by Isaac Asimov. Several of the Kage Baker novels. Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire. Too many others to count.

8. Three Of My All-Time Favorite Books
Ooh, that's a tough one. The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas. The Hobbit by JRRT. The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman.

1 I thought I'd post this one from the original meme just for the heck of it. :)
