New SF RPG: River of Heaven Kickstarter
One of the things that I've been looking for over the last few years, I guess, has been a science fiction roleplaying game. Sure, I've gone through a few of these over the last few years (and no, I'm not naming games here!). Deep down I've never really been happy with any game that I've run, I guess, hence I've not stuck to one game. Part of this stems from the fact that I've got a good idea of what I really want in an sf rpg, and while most of the systems that I've run over the last few years have had some of what I want, they haven't really met the criteria that I've (subconsciously) set for myself.
However, I think that's about to change. I heard yesterday of a brand new science fiction rpg that is going to come out later this year, currently being funded on Kickstarter for its artwork, the River of Heaven RPG, and it looks exactly what I'm looking for, to be honest. Here's what the cover art of the book would appear to be (but this may change, of course):
