April Fool's Poem

Got back from the hospital about an hour or so ago, and have eaten some breakfast (couldn't eat any food for 12 hours before the test), and feel all right. I'm partially numb, and a bit sore from the test, but otherwise okay. Bit sleepy, too, so will go to bed shortly.

Given that it's April 1st, and we all know what that means, I thought I would share this with you. Jean Wells Rogers, a long-time reader of the Dear Abby columns in the newspaper, wrote this wonderful poem for today. Fitting, don't you think?

APRIL 1

No one goes hungry
All people are fed
The oceans are clean
Lake Erie's not dead.

The Irish aren't fighting
The Arabs love Jews
The swords are now plowshares
Now ain't that good news?

The water's delicious
The air is so clear
On top of a mountain
You see to next year.

Couples stay married
Children are jewels
Sure got you going!

APRIL FOOLS!

I'm off to bed now, for a bit of shuteye. Post later, maybe.

Here's hoping they don't append the following words to your medical test results:

"April Fools!"

hehe

From your mouth to the Goddess's ears! :) Won't hear back on the tests for around two weeks or so, but that's all right...
