Blood Tests, Breakfast, and Work

This morning has been a strange day.

Tossed and turned for most of the night, so not a lot of sleep. Got up for work this morning, but remembered that I had to go for my diabetes blood tests this morning, so went back to sleep for an extra couple of hours.

I woke up somewhat refreshed, and then did the morning ablutions and shower thing, and headed for the hospital for my tests. I find the process painful somewhat all the time, and to be honest, my arm will bruise for a good week, regardless of who does the test, how good they are at taking the blood, and so forth. Today was no exception.

From the hospital, I went over to Denny's for some breakfast, and had a typical grand slam - 2-egg omelet with spinach, some bacon, pancakes, sugar-free syrup, and a side of yogurt, followed by some decaf coffee. I hadn't eaten since 8:30 pm the night before, so I was pretty hungry. Considering it was close to 9:00 am by the time I finished breakfast, I went in to the office for work, though I felt a bit under the weather.

So I'm sitting here at the office now, doing the job I'm paid to do, but feeling a bit tired.
