Prepping to Game Atlantis on a Sunday

Just finished taking care of a few things down in the basement, and going over some of my banking statements and the like to make sure the accounts are proper and in their right states.

Since I'll be gaming with the Sunday afternoon gaming group today, I've decided that I want to take a second shower or perhaps just a sitz bath before gaming, and then will go and do some more reading prior to gaming today.

I'll be running the Atlantis: The Second Age roleplaying game this afternoon. The Sunday players will start off with some game mechanics, some samples of combat, and talk about the game world. If there's time after that, I'll start the actual play of game though I don't know what I'll do with the characters. spross and Tammy don't talk to each other when they create their characters, and their characters have pretty much nothing in common. No idea where I'll start them, or what I'll have them doing (and I know nothing about the characters, since neither of them have done up or sent me their character backgrounds), so this should be pretty interesting if the game reaches that point.
