*****
I have to say that I was somewhat surprised to see how many books I'd read this past month, especially novels, since it just seemed as if I hadn't read all that many books and the like over the course of June. I suspect the number of All For One: Régime Diabolique stuff (the rulebook, but pdfs for the rest) re-reads I did may have influenced this impression. Of my reads this past month, my favourite reads were probably The Salt God's Daughter, a terrific second novel by Ilie Ruby (the first book was really good as well, but this was just so evocative and full of imagery to my mind) and the dinosaur book by Steve Parker (which I admit to having been reading for several months; big book of detailed dinosaur stuff). I also rather liked Unnatural Creatures, as the book had some great stories, old and new, that delved into the central premise of the anthology.
Overall, I managed to read 9 novels, 2 RPGs and RPG products, 2 magazine, 0 comics, and 1 graphic novels in June. That brings the total for the year so far in 2014 to a set of numbers that look like this: 42 books, 16 RPGs and RPG products, 11 magazines, 10 comics, and 1 graphic novel.
Anyway, thoughts and comments are always welcome. :)
