awakeSpent Saturday afternoon out doing some grocery shopping with
spross, and teaching him a little bit about diabetic nutrition. During the evening, I went with friends and saw the new Hercules movie with Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson. Not much to say about it, other than it wasn't the movie I was expecting, but it was a good 90+ minutes of popcorn fun. Sunday dawned somewhat gloomy and warm, but the sun came out for the afternoon.
spross ran a session of Atlantis: The Second Age, and I had a decent time with it. I'll blog about that game session later today, for those who are interested. After a comfy supper of swiss steak, some mashed potatoes, and a salad, I settled in for the evening and watched the night's episode of Unforgettable. It was a great episode, the plot somewhat neat in its twists and turns, and I loved the interaction throughout beween Al and Carrie. After Unforgettable, I settled in for a bit and read another section in the Atlantis: Geographica sourcebook for the Atlantis: The Second Age RPG, and then went to bed.It's been a somewhat busy day this morning, marred only by the pain in my left hip and left ankle, though I'm trying to take it relatively easy on my feet today. The dampness is causing me to hurt a bit more than usual, I suspect, so I've taken some Aleve and am just trying to get on with the day.
