Day 6 – Favourite RPG Never Get to Play
Believe it or not, this isn't a tough one at all. Sort of.
There are two roleplaying games that are my two of my favourites, that I never get/got to play.
The first of these is the Continuum: Roleplaying in the Yet RPG of time travel. (The Wikipedia link is here.) One of the most complicated roleplaying games of all-time. While I did manage to run the game for a while, and even ran some convention games, all of my players just couldn't handle the time travel elements and some of the math the game involved. 'Nuff said.
The second favourite RPG that I never get to play is Agone. Agone is a fantasy roleplaying game set in Harmundia, the Twilight Realms, and is based on the French novels by Mathieu Gaborit. The game line was originally published in French by Multisim, and the first five products were translated to English. Most of my players loved the game, but with three players who didn't, well... let's just say there was no point in running it. And I got frustrated with the game for a couple of other reasons. That said, it has what is my favourite magic system of all time, and the game world itself is extremely cool.
