Work, Health, and Gaming Thoughts for a Wednesday Morning

I woke up this morning to a seriously chilly day outside, though when I went out to get the morning paper (which was lying at the bottom of the stairs to the condo space) there was no wind going on. Still, very cold.

Work this morning is pretty quiet, a welcome change from yesterday, when the boss was in a frightful and angry mood because of something that happened in a morning meeting. I'm making progress on the project I'm working on at the moment, and there's going to be some international stuff coming up related to the project that I'm happy about, but we'll see how that goes when the time comes.

Health-wise, I've come to a decision. I'm going to try and lose some of the weight that needs to come off my body over the winter, and will also make an effort to eat a bit better than I am, and to find out what's going on with my bowels. While much of this has to do with the diabetes in one way or another, part of this has to do with the stress of Real Life(tm) I'm sure, but there may be something else going on as well. Anyway, one thing at a time.

And in gaming news, while the Wednesday night players wouldn't normally be gaming this evening, they've decided that they really want to get into the Abney Park's Airship Pirates game world this evening, and will be creating their characters for the game. So I'm definitely looking forward to that.
