Birthday Thoughts
Yesterday was my birthday. I turned 51. It got me to thinking: what have I done in my life? As near as I can remember, bearing in mind that I'm 51 and suffer from Mind Like A Sieve (MLAS; tm), I've had the following jobs in my life...
Pharmacy clerk
Summer camp tennis instructor
University radio DJ
Bank teller
Computer programmer
Systems analyst
SF & F bookstore owner
Given the fact that I have an M.A. in Psychology, it's interesting to note that I've never had a job in the Psychology field at all, other than working in a hospital psychiatric ward for a while during my Masters.
Interesting how life works out, isn't it? :)
