I can't say that September was an enjoyable month, to be honest, mostly due to health stuff going on, though lots of things happened during the course of the month. October marks the true beginning of the fall period for the most part, with All Hallow's Eve bringing the month to its conclusion. The weather will get colder still, though I hope that holds off for a time, if possible, but we'll see what Mother Nature brings us for the month.
And another season of NHL hockey begins on the 8th of the month, with a different look and different feel version of the Ottawa Senators taking to the ice to make a go of it. While I don't know what the NHL season will bring, I'll say it right now... I don't believe the Sens will make it into the playoffs in the East, and if they do, it'll be close unless something about this team really comes together this year. That said, I'd love to see them (more than) squeak in to the chase for Lord Stanley's cup.
I've got gaming this evening with the Wednesday night gamers, as they'll be starting their Abney Park's Airship Pirates RPG campaign. I'm quite looking forward to that. You can expect the post about the game session here tomorrow, as well as the September Book Reads one sometime tomorrow.
In the meantime, back to the work stuff here, which is getting a bit busier. And a cup of peppermint tea.
