Friday Morning Thoughts, Such as They Are

It's Friday morning, and the end of the work week.

Thank Goddess.

As most folks might expect (if you've been reading my blog this week and last), I've had a difficult time adjusting to the insulin therapy treatment I'm now on. Part of this has been coming to grips (so to speak) with having to do the injections, but most of it has to do with the changes the insulin is causing in my body and my biochemistry. I've been feeling out of sorts since I started the insulin, and still feel that way, and am hoping that this eases off soon and I can start feeling "normal" again (whatever that term means in my case), but for now am bearing up under things (barely).

I don't have any real plans for this weekend, but I do know that I'm going to try and take it relatively easy and relax. Try and do a bit of reading, since I've been lax on the book reading this past week or so due to various things. Maybe get a bit more sleep (since I can't say I've been sleeping all that well). On the gaming front, I'm not sure what's going to happen this weekend (let alone tonight!, seeing as it's Friday), but there is a change coming for me game-wise (that I'll go into later in a separate post).

As for now, well I'd better get back to work after this short tea break. As for the rest of you folks, carry on.
