Friday Afternoon Was Good

Had a pretty good afternoon after I got off work.

Came home and ate some lunch, and then settled in and finished the first rough of the a|state RPG scenario that I'll be running at CanGames in May. I had a pretty sleepless night last night, so took a nap for about 45 minutes afterwards, and then called knightbane in Smith Falls. We chatted for a bit, and then I went and made some tea before settling in to read a bit more of the River of Heaven roleplaying game. I'm about half way through the rulebook (and have already read the PDF) so that's cool.

As noted in an earlier blog entry today, there's some flu going around my Friday night gaming group, so only Angela and Mark of the five players will be out for the evening. We'll be messing around with the River of Heaven game this evening (whatever Angela meant by the whole "messing" around thing).

So that means I had better get my butt upstairs and start making some supper. Have a good evening, folks. :)
