It was a good time overall, and the bride looked gorgeous in her stunning dress and the groom was suitably happy and like a deer caught in the headlights for the most part. The wedding itself was beautiful, the bride and groom exchanging personal vows.
The reception was typical of these things, though they opted for a jazz band, as both bride and groom are huge afficionados of the musical sound. The foodstuffs available at the reception were the typical things one expects at these things, and the wedding cake was lovely. I'm not sure how to describe it, other than four-tiered, a musical theme of sorts, and a classy jazz musician and his bride on top of the cake. I danced a bit, had a small piece of cake (as did everyone else), and saw a few friends there as well.
Somewhat tired from the day. But overall quite nice.
Time to relax for the evening, after a bit of supper. Light, of course.
