Thursday Morning Thoughts

It's Thursday morning in the Ottawa valley.

The weekend is nearly here. Good thing, too, as I've been busy as a beaver at work, up to my ears in preparation this week for the translation job that I'm overseeing. So I'll be happy to see the backside of the week, truthfully.

Nothing else much to report health-wise, other than the fact I've got a bit of a case of the sniffles, a sore throat, and a mild cough. That, and the fact that my left ankle/leg are pretty hurting these days. Uggh!

Last night's game session of the Primeval RPG went pretty well. The Wednesday players created their characters, and had a lovely time of it, also getting to see a bit of how the game mechanics work. Never try to take on a bunch of Compsognathus! :) I'll be blogging about the game session later this afternoon, so those interested in that should keep an eye out. Donna mentioned to me this morning that the drive home last night (around 10:15 pm) was kind of messy, due to the somewhat heavy snowfall at the time. But the players all got home safely, and are looking forward to their next session of Primeval. So am I! :)

In the meantime, back to work.
