Palaeontology Thought

Been reading a couple of books on palaeonotology of late, and have this thought to offer.

How can you tell dinosaur bones from rock? The woven look of bone and signs of growth are good clues. Bone fragments will often stick to your tongue as well, while rock will not. To be a palaeontologist, you have to be okay with licking dinosaurs.
