Saturday Morning (and Hurting) Thoughts

Woke up this morning to a very strange day.

The weather today promises to be somewhat bizarre, with relatively modest temperatures in the very low plus degrees Celsius, but with rain, and snow, and a freezing rain warning in effect. Needless to say, I have to go out today to take care of a couple of things.

I'm in need of a couple of grocery staples, notably spring onions, spinach, and some cheesesticks. That said, I also plan to get over to Fandom II this afternoon to take care of pre-registration for this year's CanGames convention in May. The problem is: Can I walk?

You see, I have broken two toes on my right foot. Arrgggggghhh! (More on that in a separate post).

That said, I had a pretty good evening with the Friday gaming group, after the breaking of toes incident, as they started off their River of Heaven RPG campaign on a good foot (so to speak). I'll be blogging up about the game when I get a chance, after transcribing last night's game notes, but suffice it to say an entertaining game session was had by all, even if my brain was a bit dulled by the pain meds I took to combat the toe(s) pain.

Anyway, I need to head upstairs and make some breakfast. And then take another dose of pain meds. Oh, joy... oh, bliss.
