A Busy Afternoon

I didn't get home until much later in the afternoon than I had planned.

I had planned on getting a haircut early this week. Given the hot weather here in Ottawa of late, and with more mid-summer temperatures on their way for the weekend, that idea was reinforced, and so I went for a haircut after I got off work at First Choice Haircutters. After eating, I decided to go to Harvey's for lunch, and had an Angus burger and a bottle of water. Good stuff.

Since I had received my notice of renewal for my driver's license, and since I was going for the haircut, I headed over to one of the Service Ontario centres near me, and took care of that. I had to wait for around an hour or so, not too bad, and was able to renew my license (it now notes that I'm diabetic and on insulin) as well as getting my Health card renewed as well. Two photos, and two birds with one stone.

After leaving Services Ontario, I headed home, stopping on the way for some vegetables for tonight's chicken stir fry that I intend to have. When I got home, I took a quick nap and had a snack, and then did some work with spross by phone about the Chill 3rd Edition RPG.

And now, it's time to start making supper. :)
