soreSince this is one of two gaming conventions I'll be going to this year (the other being GenCon Indy), I'm really looking forward to the convention. Looking forward to meeting old friends and acquaintances, chatting with new folks and the like, and doing the gaming thing, of course. I'm looking forward to running the two River of Heaven, one Primeval, and one Chill 3rd Edition games, naturally, though I really do hope that I actually get some players for the four games.
My only real concern about the convention is the matter of doing a lot of walking. Because of the problems I'm having with my left ankle and leg (treatment is forthcoming later in May), I don't know how much walking I'm going to be able to do at the convention venue. I may take a cane with me, but I may not. And I've got to watch my blood sugars carefully and take my insulin dose at night during the convention, so that bears some more forethought as well. So we'll see how things go.
