The weather today is quite pleasant for the moment, as the temperature will hit the mid-20s Celsius, but the humidity will be right down there. There is a pollen alert today, my sinuses and throat already telling me of this, so I have to take care of myself in that regard.
Other than the allergies, I'm doing all right health-wise, though both my feet are hurting something fierce after yesterday's appointment at the Footcare clinic. I don't know what it is, but the whole footcare treatment and all just seems to irritate my feet and make the nerves jangled and all for a couple of days afterwards. So I take painkillers, and deal with it.
Here at work this morning, things are extremely busy. This is normal on Fridays, given that the weekend approaches, but this weekend is the Labour Day weekend here in Canada. Thus, the work day today is more hectic than normal as my boss is trying to make sure that the translation project gets the most work done today that's possible - and then trying to add a second day's efforts into it to compensate for the loss of Monday as a work day.
As most folks have noticed, the last couple of weeks (okay, more than that, since I got back from GenCon) I've been very focused on the Chill 3rd Edition. All that's going to change for this afternoon when I get home, as I'll be running the Atlantis: The Second Age RPG this evening with the Friday night group, so I need to devote some time to the Sword & Sorcery game for the afternoon. I've also had a couple of ideas for new adventures, possibly convention length, that I want to work on as well, so that's going to be part of the afternoon's efforts.
Anyway, back to work here at the office. :)
