October 1st Thoughts

October 1st. A brand new month.

I have to say that to be honest, while October is associated with cool temperatures and dampness, I'm actually glad to be out of September and into the new month. It has been a trying month in several respects, and I've had a lot of stress to deal with in September, so I'm glad to get to the new month and see if I can de-stress a bit. While I know that winter is somewhere ahead (hopefully not too close ::knock on wood:: ), I'm hoping for a good October and a pleasant month.

This month sees the Canadian federal election towards the back half of the middle of the month, and the end of the month has the coming of Halloween (of course), so it shouldn't be a boring month. My overall plan for the month is to get my blood sugar readings a bit lower than they are, and try not to have any foot accidents. Oh, and to stay relatively warm. :)

Gaming-wise, I'll be concentrating this month on getting the Chill 3rd Edition RPG scenarios done for CanGames 2016 (in May), and to do some preparation work for running the All For One: Régime Diabolique RPG once more at some point down the line (perhaps November, but we'll see).

For now, it's back to the start of work here at the office for October.
