Election Day in Canada

Another bitterly cold day here in Ottawa, though of course, this is nothing compared to what's likely coming for the winter.

Sitting in the office, getting the job done, and thinking about life in general and other stuff.

When I leave the office today, I'll be heading over to the local polling station in my riding here and casting my vote. Yes, it's Federal Election Day here in Canada, and I have to say that I'm hoping for a change of government. I'm not going into my reasons for why I want Harper and the Conservatives out, but don't know what's going to happen when the polls close and the votes are tallied up.

That said, to all my LJ readers and anyone else seeing this post... If you are Canadian, please go and cast your vote today. It's one of the perks (I feel) of being Canadian, and it's a privilege and a choice that you can make.

So get out there and vote! :)
