Doctor's Appointment, and Test Results
Just got back from my doctor's appointment.
The news is both good and bad. The bad news is that my a1C has shot up by a couple of points, and thus my Type 2 diabetes is not considered under good control right now. Both my family physician and the endocrinologist conferred on this, and agree that it's mostly due to my being taken off the Metformin (because of a couple of other indicators in the blood test results). Another factor is, of course, the fact that I've not been getting enough exercise. Tough to do when your foot and ankle feel like they're telling your brain to hack them off, though.
The good news is that all the other test results were good.
Oh, and at the doctor's recommendation, I had my pneumonia shot and will be starting some vitamin B12. Might help with the neuropathy, and he feels that it might do me some good with the ankle and foot problems.
