Laptop Disaster

As most of the folks who read my blog know, my old laptop went the way of the dodo last week.

I had taken the hard drive in to Futureshop to get the data on there transferred to a CD/DVD, but now, I'm screwed.

The laptop system had OS/2 Warp on the hard drive, and the guy at Futureshop told me that they can see the drive, they can see the partitions on the drive, but that the drive is empty of data and files. Given that my life was on that hard drive, does anyone know how I can possibly get the data off the drive at all?

HELP, please!

I am beyond distraught and depressed, I am devastated...
