Friday Night's Game Session - Playtesting for CanGames, 2017, Part Two

As I mentioned in yesterday's blog entry, the Friday night gamers had agreed to forego their regular gaming session in favour of playtesting one of the scenarios that I'll be running at CanGames 2017.

The players arrived at my place around 7:00 pm, and we chatted for around 10 minutes about the past week and Real Life(tm). Once I was ready to game, the players agreed to playtest one of the two Coriolis - The Third Horizon scenarios, and I was happy doing that (to be honest).

I won't discuss any of the details of the playtest session here, other than to say that the scenario, "Dark Flowers", went pretty well, though I may need to add another scene or two near the beginning of the adventure to flesh it out to the 3-3/4 hours time slot that I have available to me at CanGames. There were a couple of hiccups that I made notes about, and will probably see how I can work around these over the next week or two. The players made a couple of suggestions about some of the scenes in the adventure, and a couple of my descriptive "efforts" that need to be shortened. That's what I really love about the Friday night players - they're...opinionated. :)

So a good playtest of one of the two Coriolis - The Third Horizon adventures I'll be running at CanGames in a little under three weeks. Can't wait for next week's game session. :)
