Wednesday Night's Game Session - Playtesting for CanGames, 2017, Part Four

Last night, the Wednesday night gamers showed up at my place, and we playtested one of the scenarios that I'll be running at CanGames 2017 in just over a week.

The players arrived at my place around 6:50 pm or so, and we chatted for around 10 minutes about the past week and Real Life(tm). Once I was ready to game, the players agreed to playtest one of the two Coriolis - The Third Horizon scenarios that I'll be running at the convention.

Needless to say, I won't discuss any of the details of the playtest session here, other than to say that the players took on the "Dark Flowers" scenario for the game, and it went pretty well. There were a couple of hairy moments and one instance of a moral choice that tore at the players' (and their characters') hearts; when it was over, the players told me those were some of the most emotional choices they've faced in an rpg in a while - and that they loved it! I made some notes about a couple of the encounters that the players commented on, and may make some revisions to those before I run the game at CanGames. We'll see...

So a good playtest of one of the two Coriolis - The Third Horizon adventures I'll be running at CanGames in just eight (!!) days.
