Once upon a time, in something like late 1982 or perhaps the 1984/1985 period (I can barely remember some of that time, and in my weakened state right now, well...) there was a really cool science fantasy (though I preferred to think of it as science fiction) roleplaying game called SkyRealms of Jorune. It was a very alien world, and had a great motto for the time: Leave Your World Behind.
Well, it's time for me to Leave My World Behind, Again (to paraphrase somewhat). While I dearly love the Coriolis - The Third Horizon RPG, I've had a hankering for a while to go back to Jorune, to experience some of that sheer alien-ness again, and while I'll continue to run Coriolis as well, I think SkyRealms of Jorune is that "other" science fiction rpg that I want to run.
So with the help of
spross today, I have taken all the Jorune goodness out of my gaming/books storage cupboard, and have now but to peruse them again.
Can't wait to revisit Jorune...soon.
