For those who might be interested, or who are just plain Doctor Who fans...

Peter Capaldi, the actor to most recently play the Twelfth (or Thirteenth, depending) Doctor in the Doctor Who series celebrates his birthday today.

While I can't say that I'm a great fan of New Who, I absolutely adored Mr. Capaldi's acting in everything I've seen him in. I actually came to like him in the role of the Doctor, and found him to have elements of my favourite Doctors over the Classic years of the show. Sad to say, Mr. Capaldi has already left the role of the Doctor, and we await the new series with Jodie Whitaker in the rule.

So here's wishing Peter Capaldi a happy 59th! :)
