Morning Report

Feel somewhat refreshed and recharged today.

spross popped over yesterday and gave me a hand unpacking and hoisting the new 1100w microwave that I had purchased. I had needed a new microwave for some time now, but had only finally gotten around to digging it out and all. Started hacking and coughing away after cleaning up the space where the old microwave was, but I seem to be back to normal (or whatever passes for it) today. Managed to do a bit of work on the SkyRealms of Jorune pre-gen characters for the CanGames scenario, so that's just about ready to run at the con. I still need to put a couple of finishing touches on the Desolation scenario as well; the pre-gen characters for that are done.

Was in bed last night by about 9:30 pm, and managed to read a whole chapter of Scabbard's Song by Kim Hunter, the current fantasy novel that I'm reading; the chapters in this book are around 45 or so pages each. Last thing I remember was the clock saying it was about 10:10 pm, so I was out like a light and slept until the alarm rang at 05:15 am. So a good night's sleep, and I didn't have any bad or nasty dreams.

Today, here at work, my desk is relatively empty at the moment, so I've spent about half an hour reading Donna's notes on her character for the HEX RPG PBeM game. She's done a good job on the background of the character, and I'm looking forward to seeing her character in action in the game. The boss just handed me a new file to work with, so that means it's time to get back to it.

I plan to take a bit of a walk during lunchtime, and just catch a few rays of the sun today, as the temperature is supposed to hit around 170C (around 620F) today. A nice, comfortable day, good for walking and all.

Writer's Block: Swine Times

Are you worried about catching the swine flu? Do you have a plan for avoiding contagion or dealing with quarantine?

No, not really.

Just gotta avoid getting sick, avoid going to hospitals, and try to maintain my health.

Easy, right? :)
