SteveB's Funeral

Given the death of my friend, SteveB, it's no surprise that we're not gaming tonight. There are indications that we may get back into the gaming rhythm in a couple of weeks, but we'll see how it goes.

SteveB's funeral was held yesterday, Thursday, after the hospital finally released the body following the autopsy that was performed. Since the funeral was family only, I did not attend of course, but made sure to send Kathy and the family a lovely wreath and card. Heard from Kathy's sister about the funeral, and things went as well as can be expected in this regard.

RPG Playtest, Friends?

If any of my roleplaying game friends here in the Ottawa area are free on Sunday to come out to a playtest of a roleplaying game scenario, please drop me an e-mail for specifics. Game to run between 1:00 - 5:30 pm or thereabouts. Thanks. :)

Plans Change

Kathy called me after I got home this afternoon, asking me if I would be willing to take my goddaughter for the rest of Friday and into Saturday and part of the morning. Even though it was short notice, I agreed to do so, because (1) she's my goddaughter and 2) it's what you do for your good friends. So I'm looking forward to this.

Changes my plans, of course, but that's cool.
