Back From Field Trip
A somewhat cold day in Ottawa, with sunshine and relatively clear weather. (Occasional flurries of snow, even when coming home.) Still, not as bad as it's been weather-wise this week here in the nation's capital.
Just returned home from my field trip for the Geology class.
It's not fun getting up at 4:30 am on a Saturday morning for stuff, but I have to say that I've really enjoyed myself during the Geology class field trips. The "hands on"/lab experience really does help make the academic lessons sink in somewhat better.
That said, I'm somewhat cold, somewhat tired, somewhat hungry, and my eyes and throat are bothering me a bit from the fumes at the moment. I think a nice hot shower again, and then some lunch. After that, we'll see.
But, oh... Chemistry of rocks. Lots of fun. :)
