Hump Day Thoughts

Woke up this morning feeling somewhat tired, but the pain in my back has eased off somewhat.

Could have been due to the warmer temperatures yesterday, but may also be due to the fact that I took it as easy as I could, both at work and at home.

In the meantime, today is Wednesday, the Hump Day of the week, and the day at work is about to begin. I'm grateful for the fact that there's not a lot of work stuff going on for the moment, so am sitting down with the first cup of hot chai tea of the day.

Game Registration for CanGames 2013

And so the gaming season is starting up again.

Yesterday afternoon, I received my notification from CanGames 2013 that they are looking for GameMasters, and the link to the form for submitting games for the convention.

I've submitted my first pair of events for the convention, the running of a home-made scenario for the Heirs to the Lost World RPG set during the Mythic New Age of the Age of Exploration. I'll also be running a pair of games of the Primeval RPG, but haven't submitted that one up yet, as I need to decide which scenario I'll run for the convention.

CanGames 2013 will be taking place at the Rideau Curling Club over the Victoria Day weekend, May 17th - 19th, 2013, here in Ottawa. Since I won't be going to GenCon Indy this year (barring a seriously major miracle), this convention as well as possibly Hammercon in Hamilton and Phantasm in Peterborough. So I'm definitely looking forward to CanGames this year.
