Friday Morning Stuff

Friday morning in the Ottawa valley.

A somewhat cold day, though the sunshine outside is making the day feel warmer than it actually is. And that doesn't stop the night time temperatures from being pretty nippy and all that.

Work this morning is somewhat less busy than I expected for a Friday, but I can't say I'm displeased with that, and perhaps things will get busier as the morning goes on. ::knock on wood::

I've got a lot of things on my plate at the moment, most of which I'm not going to discuss here as they tend to stress me out just thinking about them. I will comment that I'm currently reading a really enjoyable collection of short stories, Impossible Futures edited by Judith K. Dial and Thomas Easton (you can see more about the book here on Amazon.ca) and it's quite entertaining so far.

In the meantime, being as it's Friday, I'll be gaming with the Friday night group this evening, and I'm looking forward to that.

Getting Ready to Roll on Down That (Atomic) Highway...

Getting late in the afternoon on the Friday, and that means it's almost time to get going and game with my Friday evening group tonight.

I'll be taking the players and their characters for a drive down the Atomic Highway, so am rather looking forward to this. Should be a fun evening of gaming.

In the meantime, just about time to head up the stairs and make myself something for supper tonight.

Here's wishing all of you a happy evening. Catch you sometime tomorrow. :)
