Strange Wednesday

I woke up this morning feeling very strange and somewhat disoriented.

As I prepared to get out of the bed this morning after waking, the room just reeled around me and I felt like I had a bad case of vertigo. My brain felt a little bit scrambled as well, but things stabilised somewhat as I got up and tried to go about the morning routine.

I still felt somewhat dizzy and headachy when the car pool arrived at 6:45 am, but decided to come in to work regardless. The day hasn't gotten any better or worse, but I'll be glad when this day is over.

I'm supposed to game with the Wednesday night trio tonight, but we'll see about that when I get home and how I'm doing.

Happy Birthday, animadversio!

Day 20 – Will Still Play in 20 Years' Time...

This one is a tough one. Considering that in 20 years' time I'll be 79 years of age, I'm not even sure that I'll be gaming, let alone have all my mental faculties to be able to game... :)

That said, assuming I'm still (capable of) gaming in 20 years, I think I'll still be running Khepera Publishing's Atlantis: The Second Age sword & sorcery fantasy rpg. The game has an absolutely fantastic basic premise, the Antediluvian game world presented in the main rulebook and the Atlantis: Geographica has such rich detail and countless adventure plot hooks, and there are multitudes of ideas out there for the game in the form of Conan and other sword & sorcery literature. And at 79 years old, I'm sure I'll need ideas for adventures and all! :)

There are a couple of other rpgs that I can see myself running 20 years from now as well, but Atlantis: The Second Age is the main game I could see myself gaming. Well, that or the old SPI DragonQuest fantasy rpg, if I still had a head for math formulae. :)

Getting Ready for Wednesday Night Gaming

Just about to head upstairs and begin gaming for the evening.

The Wednesday night group is going to be starting a brand new adventure for the Atlantis: The Second Age sword & sorcery roleplaying game.

This will be the first time I've gamed in two weeks, due to the various medical tests I had late last week, so I'm rather looking forward to it. Should be an interesting evening of gaming.

Have a good night, folks. :)
