Friday Morning Ramblings

It's Friday morning.

Sitting in the office and working away this morning, and feeling pretty good about stuff. My left leg and ankle are still hurting a lot, so I continue to take pain meds for that, but it's not as bad as it was earlier in the week.

I've got to do some grocery shopping on my way home this day, but have decided that I need to cut out all the unnecessary expenses that I've been accruing of late, as I need to save a bit more money for next month's jaunt to GenCon Indy. It's not so much that money is tight right now, as there are some major medical expenses that I need to deal with in the early part of July. Still, eating and medical stuff comes first until the trip to Indianapolis.

In gaming news, I'll be running the Atlantis: The Second Age RPG on all three gaming groups (Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday) for the foreseeable future (or at least until the Chill 3rd Edition game comes out, since I really do want to get my gaming on with that), though I'm not sure how much gaming I'll actually get in during July, what with GenCon at the end of the month and all. Normally, I'd be playing in the month of July (my birthday treat from the players), but spross decided not to run this year, and Nick isn't with the Friday group any more, so I'm in "run mode". I've already blogged about Wednesday's game session of Atlantis: The Second Age, and am looking forward to running the game this evening with the Friday nighters.

In the meantime, back to work. :)

Getting Ready for Friday Night Gaming

It's almost time for Friday night gaming.

The Friday night gamers will be starting a new scenario of the Atlantis: The Second Age RPG campaign, and I'm quite looking forward to this. The group hasn't played Atlantis since around September of last year, and I'm eager to get back to the Antediluvian world with the players - and there will be changes to the gaming group, since the last time I ran the game, Nick, Joanne, and Tom were still gaming with us.

In the meantime, however, I need to get upstairs and make some supper. Some chicken schnitzel, a side salad, and some basmati rice sound good.

Have a great evening, folks. :)
