A Sunday Morning Musings

It's Sunday morning.

I can't say that the evening was very good, as I didn't get a lot of rest last night despite taking some pain meds for the agonising pain in my lower left back.

I feel somewhat better this morning, but my back is still pretty bad, and it flares up somewhat if I move too quickly or at just the wrong angle. The morning shower helped somewhat (as I took it as hot as I could possibly take it), but the pain is still...throbbing, as I type this.

I'm supposed to game with spross and Tammy today, so am looking forward to that. Hopefully, it will make me forget about the pain for a little while. I'll be running the Fvlminata: Armed with Lightning RPG this afternoon.

After that, rest for the evening. Maybe even go to bed early.

Sunday Gaming Session Cancelled

Just heard from Tammy this morning.

She's decided that she's doing something that's very important, and won't be able to make it out today. I spoke to spross as well, and he's decided that he won't pop by today. Thus giving my back a rest. :)

So no game session of Fvlminata: Armed with Lightning for today. *sigh*

Friday Night Game Report - Chill 3rd Edition Session 12

Well, due to events beyond my control, I didn't manage to blog this post up yesterday. But better late than never, right? :)

Friday night (the 15th), the Friday night gamers got together and continued to play in their Chill 3rd Edition RPG campaign. Here are the game session notes. You can read about the previous session of the campaign in this journal entry. This blog entry is somewhat long, so I've put it behind a cut so that folks who don't want to read any detailed rpg posts don't have to.

Friday night's game session of the Chill 3rd Edition RPG campaign was a really enjoyable one, filled with all manner of stuff, some good roleplaying, and some encounters with the Unknown forces present in the adventure that left the players somewhat shaken, but feeling they had made progress ("in a nasty, grotty way," as Kathy put it). The players rather enjoyed themselves during this outing, and have their suspicions about the creature of the Unknown in the case (though I'm not going to discuss that here).

Overall, a very good session of the Chill 3rd Edition campaign with the Friday night gaming group, and I'm rather looking forward to next week's session!
