Wednesday Night Game Report - Primeval RPG Session 7

Two days ago, the Wednesday night players continued their campaign of the Primeval RPG. I meant to post this blog entry up yesterday, but got a bit distracted by other stuff. Here are the game session notes for Wednesday night. You can read about the previous session of the game in this journal entry. This post is somewhat long, and I've put it behind a cut so that folks who don't want to read any detailed rpg posts don't have to.

Wednesday night's game session of the Primeval RPG was one that had a slow start, and that the players used to re-acquaint themselves with the game mechanics, the game world, and their characters. Crystal, who was new to the game, discovered during the sample combats that dinosaurs in Primeval are not to be trifled with, though she admitted afterwards that she really likes the game mechanics, and has come to respect the dinosaurs (at least for a little while). She liked the use of the Threat mechanics, and is looking forward to them in actual play. (Crazy girl, that!) :)

Overall, an enjoyable session of the Primeval RPG, and I'm looking to see how much trouble the players and their characters can get into in this adventure. :)

Getting Ready for Friday Night Gaming

Getting ready for gaming with the Friday night group.

Came home from work and made a healthy lunch of a chicken salad. Did some vacuuming in the living room, took a bit of a nap, made some hummus with celery and a couple of pieces of melba toast for afternoon snack, and then did some prep work for the evening game.

The Friday night gamers are playing Primeval RPG this evening, and I am looking forward to that quite a bit. The adventure the players are involved in is just about to get going for real, so should be an interesting evening of gaming. Heading upstairs for a bit of supper first. Not sure what I'll eat, but need a good, hot meal for this evening.

Have a good night, folks.
