RPGaDay in August - August 16th: Dream

We continue on with #RPGaDay in August.

Day 16 - Dream.

This is a tough one.

I can say with certainty that some of the game adventures and sessions I've run have been inspired by some of the dreams (and nightmares) that I've had over the years, though nothing specific comes to mind right now.

That said, these days I've been dreaming of a roleplaying game based on the Shattered Sands series of books by Bradley P. Beaulieu. I think that would be so cool; it's the kind of epic type of fantasy that I'd want to run, but would also depend on the game system it uses.

And there you have this sixteenth post for #RPGaDay for August, 2019. Comments, thoughts, questions, etc. are all welcome, of course.

Getting Ready for Friday Night Gaming

The weather today has been pretty hot, but I've stayed inside for the day (other than to go out and get the snail mail), so I've been relatively comfortable. Except for the breathing thing, which is likely due to the humidity again as well as my asthma.

In the meantime, gaming for this evening is on. The Friday night gamers are pretty excited, and are looking forward to continuing their game of the Sorcerers of Ur-Turuk fantasy rpg game this evening with the second half of character generation. They should be creating their Sorcerer characters for the game, and will then hopefully be able to create their Vahnam for the game as well.

I'm rather looking forward to this. We'll see how things go.

In the meantime, I need to get upstairs and make something for supper.

Have a good evening, folks. :)
