Four Days Until CanGames, 2019

And so it is Monday, in this third week of may. And that means CanGames 2019 is just around the corner.

As a matter of fact, CanGames 2019 begins in four (!!!) days, on the 17th of May, at the Rideau Curling Club here in Ottawa. While a small gaming convention, CanGames does offer a good variety of different board games, roleplaying games, miniature games and other events. My primary interest is roleplaying games, and the convention offers the tried and true such as D&D (various versions), Pathfinder and the like, but also offers rpgs from the more eclectic, older and obscure games out there.

This year, I'll be running four games - a session of Blue Planet Recontact (forthcoming v3), a session of the John Carter of Mars Roleplaying Game, and two sessions of Capharnaüm - The Tales of the Dragon-Marked. I'm looking forward to running the four games, though a bit stressed nervous about the convention this year (partially due to some health issues I'm having), and can't wait to game it with a group of people. You can read descriptions of the games I'm running at the convention by following the link.

So I'm looking forward to running the games, seeing friends, acquaintances and new friends :) at the convention and having a good weekend of gaming.

Hope to see some of the folks reading this there! :)
