Day 8 - Obscure.
Two things come to mind with this word.
The most obscure roleplaying game product or accessory that I own is a copy of the Narcissist Version 0.7 booklet that feeds off the Continuum - Roleplaying in the Yet time travel roleplaying game. (It's buried somewhere in my storage closet with the rest of the Continuum RPG stuff, and no, I'm not going to dig it out to take a photo!)
Secondly, I don't buy GM Screens to use and obscure my dice rolls from the players, though it is handy for that. I buy the GM Screens for the useful tables on them so that I don't have to keep flipping through the rulebook for stuff during play. I don't think that any GM Screen is complete or perfect, to be honest, but I do think that the two most effective and useful GM Screens that I own are for the Coriolis - The Third Horizon RPG and the John Carter of Mars Roleplaying Game.
And there you have this eighth post for #RPGaDay for August, 2019. Comments, thoughts, questions, etc. are all welcome, of course.
